Chairman of the Board

Mr. Renaud Beauchesne has over 15 years of experience in consulting and eleven years heading both private and public companies, all of them in high-technology sectors.

Over the last few months, Mr. Beauchesne carried out strategy and operations planning involving the coordination of multi-disciplinary teams across multiple geographic sites and business units. He was also directly involved in many market evaluations, technology mandates, as well as in the implementation of industrial and commercial projects featuring new technologies.

Mr. Beauchesne is the Managing Partner for SECOR’s Quebec-City office. He sat on several government boards and advisory committees at both the federal and provincial levels. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Éducaide (Gestion Universitas).

Mr. Beauchesne’s main fields of expertise include the following:

  • Strategic planning for high-tech companies
  • Organization of international distribution networks (North America, Europe and Asia)
  • Strategic corporate partnerships (North America and Europe)
  • Mergers and acquisitions

In addition to his Bachelor's degree in business administration, major in marketing, Mr. Beauchesne holds a  Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Laval University.

As a serial entrepreneur, Marc has established a track record in successful start-ups and venture capital fund raising. In 1996, after four years of teaching in the Electrical Engineering Department for Québec City’s Université Laval, Marc was successful in raising more than $5M for a high-tech start-up in machine vision. The company he founded was acquired in 2000 by the largest US publicly traded robotics organization.

In 2007, Marc teamed up with two seasoned entrepreneurs, Yvan and Dave, to cofound LeddarTech. Since 2007, Marc has set the pace in ensuring that every milestone has been met and in raising over $8M in capital in two financing rounds.

Marc received his degree in electrical engineering from L’École Polytechnique de Montréal and completed his PhD in microelectronics applied to machine vision at Université Laval. Marc is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (Quebec’s order of professional engineers).

Board member

Didier Moret, graduate of École Centrale Paris engineering school with specialization in economy, has more than twenty-five years in entrepreneurial financing notably in the creation and development of global emerging technology companies.

Mr. Moret has acquired a thorough expertise in venture capital since the eighties. He has been involved in different service activities dedicated to high tech companies in France and abroad, such as merger and acquisitions and industrial property.

Managing Director and cofounder of I-Source Gestion since 1998, Didier is instrumental in the selection and support of all enterprise projects funded by the different Venture funds managed or advised by the company.

Didier Moret is also Treasurer at the Fondation Énergies pour le Monde, a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of development projects involving the deployment of sustainable energy solutions.

Board member

Charles Mony specializes in innovative product development with feature-rich enhancements. Mr. Mony holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MA in innovation management, design and production, as well as a doctorate in mechanical design and manufacture of École Centrale Paris.

Founder and President of Creaform, Charles has nearly twenty years of experience in digitization, digital technologies and 3D rapid prototyping in the development, management and commercialization of new technologies and digital 3D for the manufacturing, multimedia and medical industries.
